Sheila Fay, L.Ac.
Balanced Life Healing

I have enjoyed sharing an office suite with Sheila for my time in Watertown. She is a wonderful acupuncturist, skilled in a variety of conditions, including hormonal balancing, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum health. She also offers an important abdominal massage technique called Arvigo - beneficial for just about any cycling person.
Community Acupuncture
For those of you new to community acupuncture, this style of treatment offers the benefits of group healing, affordability, and more flexible scheduling than private treatments. Generally patients are seated in a comfortable chair in a large room with a few other patients. The acupuncturist(s) attend to everyone in the room in turn, usually with appointments beginning every 10 or 15 minutes and ending within an hour more or less depending on the patient's comfort and scheduling.

- Marissa Farrell. Marissa is a doula, perinatal yoga instructor, and perinatal massage therapist. She also leads workshops on improving and maintaining pelvic floor health and on abdominal rehabilitation for diastasis recti, a condition that effects many people after giving birth, at the Laughing Dog Yoga Studio in Wellesley, MA. I can personally attest to the efficacy of Marissaś pelvic floor workshop since I took the 4 week version. After learning what Marissa teaches with her InHara System I finally sopped suffering from the stress incontinence that I had been told I would just have to live with after I gave birth to my second daughter. Thank you Marissa!

Rooted Boston
I took private pilates classes with Brigitte for a full year in 2017-2018. Her expertise, attention to detail, and calming demeanor helped me to strengthen my back, core, and pelvic floor in a way that has changed they way I carry my body permanently. I now sit and stand taller and with more confidence, and can care for my children and clients without fear of injuring myself in the process. Every pregnant or postpartum person can benefit from what she has to teach! Thank you Brigitte!
